Good Afternoon,
Talk about an interesting weekend to say the least. It was a rollercoaster ride with some good and some bad. Yea, that’s how I’ll put it. I want to write in theory, just don’t think I will today… I don’t know. So I thought I would just post some quotes for right now that I have come across:
“Being vulnerable doesn’t have to be threatening. Just have the courage to be sincere, open and honest. This opens the door to deeper communication all around. It creates self-empowerment and the kind of connections with others we all want in life. Speaking from the heart frees us from the secrets that burden us. These secrets are what make us sick or fearful. Speaking truth helps you get clarity on your real heart directives.”

When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don’t blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well. It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce. Yet if we have problems with our friends or family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce. Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason and arguments. That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding.

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else. ~Judy Garland
A gold medal is a nice thing – but if you’re not enough without it, you’ll never be enough with it. ~From Cool Runnings
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You’re on your own.
And you know what you know.
You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
~Dr. Seuss
